![]() You will have the freedom to choose the one that suits your movies. There are those from 0-9 in the numerical order while others are arranged alphabetically from A-Z. This site has subtitles arranged in an orderly manner. If you want the latest one in the market, the search options allow for that as well as those that have been downloaded many times. and copy it for every movie you know for sure is all english.Moviesubtitles has the biggest advantage of offering many languages for movie subtitles. ![]() if you need to create a fake subtitle there are several free programs to make your own subs. now no matter what we you go to play your movies. put it in the same folder and title it the same now. if you don't see english only parts then just use a fake sub file that contains no subs. ![]() then put it in the same folder with your movie and name it the same. automatically look for subtitles for it on subscene or whatever site for it. so I would like to give them the option to turn those subs on plex, but I would like the option on my player to go to another specific sub folder. ![]() because I have plex and share my library with many people who actually prefer english subs. I am just curious if anyone knows how to make any player look in a specific folder for subs. srt file for every English only movie you have and copy it for every movie you want and rename it to that movie. Or you could just do all this for the same folder the movies are in. create several subs that are blank for all your English only movies. if you could set your plex to get the subs from only a specific folder! Then do like I said. I like to have this for any type of player, like potplayer, kmplayer, VLC. This way, when I have my player forced to show subs all times and it goes to look in only this specific folder it will either play no subs or the foreign only parts.Īnyone kind of understand what I am saying? Any advice or any programs capable of doing this. Then for English movies with foreign parts I will download the subtitles specifically for foreign parts only and put them in this folder as well and label them the same name as my movie file. I would do this for all English only movies. but put nothing in that sub! (There are free programs to create your own subs) For this I would just create a blank sub and title it the same name as my movie file. Now, if English speaking only movies I could create a sub file for it. Create a folder specifically for all my subtitles for every movie. I have a really sneaky idea about how to achieve this, if only there is an option. a lot of times it will show built in English subs. What I want is to play english subs for foreign speaking parts only of my files. I have seen many that give the option to look first in a folder, but then it will look the internet. Is there a player out there that will only play subs from a specific folder? This would help me greatly. Lastly, is there something to look for on Torrents to try and find ones that have the foreign parts with hard coded subs so that when I get new content, there is no further work to be done? I'm trying to burn in the subs through Handbrake right now, but again, this is a measure that would need to be taken before starting the movie, how would I know on a movie by movie basis that I need to do this? I also disable subtitles by default, so this means that for any movie which does have a situation like above, I would have to enable the subtitles for it? If I do that, how do you know when you should go look for that file before you start watching the movie? It would be a pain to have to pause and go find it part way through watching. How does everyone else handle situations like this? I know I can go track down the Foreign Only subtitles and use that track. srt file, but it is for the entire film which obviously I do not want, I would want to have them for just that one part. Last night I was watching The Martian and there is a scene which is in a foreign language. I've been using plex for a while now and love it, but I've recently come across a new issue.
